Nostalgic Childhood Recommendations
1. Princess and the Frog (2009)
This movie features a great storyline showing the unimportance of social standing and wealth when it comes to love, in a light-hearted and friendly way. It finds the love between a maid and out of town prince with the use of magic.
2. Parent Trap (1998)
- Twins who are identical Annie and Hallie, that areseparated at birth and raised by one of their original parents, meet for the first time at summer camp and devise a scheme to reunite their divorced parents.
3. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
- This film includes a complex plot about a humble and smart townside girl looking for something bigger outside of her small town. While induring this she finds love without a superficial outlook or mindset, contridicting what’s waiting for her at home.
4. Book of Life (2014)
- An award-winning animated adventure based on the tradition surrounding Mexico’s colourful Day of the Dead celebrations. Manolo Sánchez, who comes from a family of bullfighters but prefers to be a musician (which fits well with Mara’s love of animals), and Joaqun Mondragon, who aims to impress her with his bravery fighting bandits, compete for the love of the mayor’s daughter, Mara Posada. The protectors of the deceased are prompted by the rivalry.
5. Mulan (1999)
- This incredible movie starts with a regular girl trying to help with her by fighting in the current war. The only problem is that they only require men. So in order to support her and her family she dresses up as a man and trains equally as hard. Although prioritizing her safety and family, she finds love along the way.
6. Big Hero 6 (2014)
- Hiro is a young child who graduated when he was 14 or 13 years old. Hiro is unsure about what he wants to achieve with his life until he receives assistance from his older brother Tadashi. Hiro submits an application to a college, only to be rejected. Hiro, on the other hand, goes on an unexpected voyage with several of his closest friends with the help of Baymax Hamada. Watch as Hiro Hamada defeats an evil enemy and several prominent members perish.
